Tips and Tricks for Surviving Isolation This Long Weekend

Wondering how you'll spend your Easter Long Weekend? The Knightcorp Team have compiled a fun list of Iso-Survival Activities for you and your family.

Get Cooking!

Test out your culinary skills with a family favourite recipe or try making something new!

If you're looking for inspiration, we asked the Knightcorp team to submit their favourite recipes.

Backyard Camping!

Were you meant to go camping for the weekend? Check the local weather forecast and if you have the space, there's no reason why you can't pitch a tent in the backyard!

Watch the Sunrise!

When was the last time you managed to catch a sunrise? While WA is known for it's sunsets, our People & Development Manager, Bianca, recommends setting the alarm that extra bit earlier for getting up and watching the sunrise over Perth.

Here is a list of some of the best places to watch from.

Listen to a Podcast!

Podcasts are free and a great source of entertainment and information. Whether it's true crime, music, information or entertainment you're after - we've got you covered!

We asked Erin and Lucy, the office Podcast Gurus for a list of recommendations.

Dirty John

Debra Newell is a successful interior designer. She meets John Meehan, a handsome man who seems to check all the boxes: attentive, available, just back from a year in Iraq with Doctors Without Borders. But her family doesn't like John, and they get entangled in an increasingly complex web of love, deception, forgiveness, denial, and ultimately, survival. Reported and hosted by Christopher Goffard from the L.A. Times.

Rolling Stone Music Now

The writers and editors of Rolling Stone take you inside the biggest stories in music. Featuring interviews with our favourite artists; what's playing in the office; expert insight on the week's biggest music news; and much more.

The Eleventh

How much do you really know about the 11th of November 1975?

You've probably heard that famous "Well may we say" speech made by Australian Prime Minister Gough Whitlam on the day he was sacked by the Queen's representative... or seen the grainy footage from the steps of old parliament house.

But do you properly understand the extraordinary events leading up to the most dramatic day in Australian political history? How did The Dismissal actually happen?

Presented by Alex Mann.

Stuff You Should Know

If you've ever wanted to know about champagne, satanism, the Stonewall Uprising, chaos theory, LSD, El Nino, true crime and Rosa Parks, then look no further. Josh and Chuck have you covered.

Sidewalk Chalk Drawing!

Have you noticed all of the sidewalk chalk drawings around the neighbourhoods?

Our General Manager, Jess, recommends buying some chalk from a supermarket, newsagency or art supply store and joining in on the fun by writing inspirational messages of your own. She particularly recommends this activity if you have kids as it's a great way for you to be creative with them. Just make sure you keep the kids off the road!

Card Games, Board Games & Puzzles!

Have you got a cupboard full of board games and puzzles that are looking a little dusty?

Now is a great time to bring the family together and do something interactive that often requires a bit of problem solving.

The Knightcorp team are currently loving the following games:

  • Sequence
  • Skip-Bo
  • Rummikub
  • Scattergories
  • Codenames
  • UNO

If you can't find a deck of cards laying around the house, send us a message on Facebook or Instagram with your address and we will post you out a pack of Knightcorp playing cards!
